PrintNet high-speed laser printer solutions include 20-, 30-, and 50-page-per-minute printers for production-class, document imageprocessing. PrintNet includes an enhanced NeWSprint-based, high-speedprinter interface. PrintNet takes full advantage of production-classlaser printer features, such as full-duplex, high-speed image printing.Image printing is usually a slow process because images must bedecompressed on the workstation before they can be printed. Ideally,decompression should be done in the printer. StorNet markets printersthat are able to decompress standard CCITT Group III and IV image filesat greater than 50 sides per minute. In addition to decompressionsupport, PrintNet solutions include a complete range of features forhigh-speed, document image laser printing.
